Natural Horse Supply will be closed down for an undetermined amount of time due to the death of my father and the time needed to deal with that. The product pages will be available during this time but you will not be able to make a purchase from them. All training pages will be left up for your enjoyment.
Continuous Nylon "Roper" Rein Nylon roper reins are made from ½" or 7/16" nylon double braid marine grade rope. Some people prefer polyester rope for reins. I don't. This nylon is super soft and will "fuzz" up with use, making it even softer on your hands. It's weighty and has a lot of "life" in it that poly rope usually doesn't have. This is the same high quality rope that I use in my lead ropes and other products. These rope reins come nine, ten or eleven feet long with brass or steel (you choose) scissor snaps on each end to connect to the bit. I use a harness leather tab to connect the snap to the rope. This acts like a slobber strap to allow you to give your horse a quick release from pressure. The leather tabs are fastened to the rope ends with leather lacing instead of rivets in the event the snap breaks and needs easy replaing. The lacing adds a measure of safety as it will break in the event your horse gets tangled up in the reins or steps on them for some reason. Instructions for replacing a broken lacing or snap can be requested at any time via email. All reins are now available in white with a blue tracer double braid nylon rope....the same high quality rope as used in all my products. Available in black or white with blue tracer. All reins can be custom made to suit your needs...just email and ask aboout pricing. Continuous Nylon Roper Reins

CONTINUOUS NYLON "ROPER" REIN FOR SMALLER HANDS I get so many requests for the smaller diameter (7/16") rope that I sell in the split reins that it seems only natural to include them in the continuous reins.

Split Reins Split reins are made from either 7/16" or 1/2" nylon double braid marine grade rope. The 7/16" is great for smaller hands. This is the same high quality rope that I use in my lead ropes and other products. These reins are seven feet long with brass or steel (you choose) scissor snaps on each end to connect to the bit and a leather popper on each end. I use a leather tab to connect the snap to the rope rein, tied in place with leather lacing in the event the snap breaks so it's easy to reapair the reins. The leather tabs act like slobber straps to allow you to give your horse a quick release from pressure. The lacing adds a measure of safety as it will break in the event your horse gets tangled up in the reins or steps on them for some reason. Instructions for replacing a broken lacing or snap can be requested at any time via email. See above explanation for my use of nylon rope as opposed to polyester with the continuous roper rein. 7' X1/2" Split Nylon ReinsReg.$35.50 7' X 7/16" Split Nylon Reins$32.50
All the tabs on the continuous and split reins can break under extreme conditions. Actually, this is a great feature for safety sake but frustrating if you don't have spares on hand. You'll receive full instructions how to replace these with your order and they are available in all the same colors as shown on the reins. Replacement Tabs: $6.00 per set Add to cart if you are buying "just in case". If you are ordering just the tabs, use this button for an adjusted shipping rate: Note: You will only be able to order 1 set at a time using this button....shipping is set at $3.00. New style of continuous reins being offered upon demand! Gone are the tabs that some folks find cumbersome. The snaps are spliced directly onto the rope, double sewn to last and give a firmer connection. These are all made from ½" rope.
This new style will be available soon in both the split reins and the 7/16" continuous reins.....
