Please do not use a metal tape to take measurements! Use either baling twine, string or a soft seamstress tape and take the measurements where you need the knots to fall on the horse's face. I like to measure from the center of the knot to the center of the corresponding knot for a precise fit, keeping in mind that the halter will stretch under use as the horse can tighten the knots much more than I can resulting in a bit larger halter. Just email me your results when you have them and then go ahead and place your order using the "custom" option on the page. There is no extra charge for custom fitting but a custom halter cannot be returned. Email with any and all questions you have for this process.
