Step #1: Untie curb strap and place strap end 1 and strap end 2 through bit rings and criss-cross over each other with strap end 2 on top.  Both strap ends should be pointed away from you.

Step #2: Wrap strap end 2 around bottom strap and top strap.  Place strap end 2 under strap 1

Step #3: Wrap strap end 1 around bottom strap and top strap and run it under strap 1 to finsh the knot.

Step #4:  Even out the knot and strap ends and center on the rings of the bit.
