For Heaven’s Sake Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation (FHSARR). Washington State is known for its wildlife! To preserve these animals the State and the Federal government have laws to assist in this effort, but laws can’t do everything to protect the creatures that have learned to live in a diminished habitat brought about by human growth and development. That is why there are special organizations such as For Heaven’s Sake Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation..

FHSARR is licensed by the State to rescue and rehabilitate wildlife under specific guidelines, laws, and within our capabilities and resources. Some of the more common animals we temporarily adopt are squirrels, rabbits, fawn and raccoons especially in Spring. We also help fox, opossum, skunk, coyotes, and other wildlife in need.

Mylestone Equine Resue (M.E.R.) is dedicated to abused and neglected horses. M.E.R. works to educate the general public about these unspeakable sufferings and promotes the plight of unwanted horses.

Our goal is to place these once magnificent creatures in homes that will give them the true love and care they deserve. If suitable homes are not found, M.E.R. will be a permanent home for these horses.
